What timezone do maintenance windows use?

The time zone used in maintenance windows will be the same as the one selected in the User Details section of the account, so if your account runs on GMT then set up your windows in GMT timezone.

For your information, your account’s timezone will also appear in the form for adding new windows, right under the window period, with a handy link to change the zone if needed.

If you change your Timezone setting on the account, your existing maintenance windows will retain the timezone that was configured prior to this. Please do verify the correct time and timezone is selected when you update or create a new maintenance window.

Note: Recurring maintenance windows will be an exact copy of the previous scheduled window, with adjusted times.
