Using the Final Location feature

The final location field can be found on uptime type tests, and allows you to be alerted if the final URL received by the test is different to what you have specified. This can be useful when testing a URL with redirects, and also in combination with our Content match feature for more in depth monitoring!

“*” can be used as a wildcard that matches “Everything or Nothing”, for example http*://mysite.com, could be used to match either “http://mysite.com” or “https://mysite.com” , and http://mysite* could be used to match “http://mysite.com”, “http://mysite.co.uk”, or “http://mysite.org” .

A paid plan is required to utilise this feature
